Flickr and stalk your school
A useful way to keep tabs on what is going on at your school is to take advantage of Flickr tags. When users upload pictures to Flickr they have the option of writing a description of the photo as well as “tagging†it with certain words. For example, a search for images tagged “NYU” reveals this picture–>
Oh those crazy NYU kids. Aside from incriminating party photos, most students take pictures of activities and weird happenings around campus.
A search for Drexel revealed this crazy bastard.
To make things easier you can even have pictures delivered via RSS. Keep track of your school, your town, or pictures of a certain part of campus.
And if you’re thinking “this is creepy†facebook is WAY worse.
